Frequently Asked Questions

"What does 'FREE BEATS' mean?"

Our beats are free for you to use on any & all non-profit projects. You are not permitted under any circumstances to use our music for profit without obtaining the rights to do so through a contract from us.

"Do we do features on songs or host mixtapes?"

Yes. If you're interested in having Tex or VTZ on your song or having RebelBeats host your mixtape contact us & we'll work something out that works for all those involved.

"What are 'Semi-Exclusive' rights & what does it mean?"

Semi-Exclusive rights [$100] are designed to give artists with smaller budgets an opportuntiy to legally obtain the right to use the music of their liking. Though you do not have exclusive ownership you're cabable of affording the right to multiple instrumentals for the price of having full exclusive ownership of 1 instrumental. This option is great fro demos & mixtapes.

"Does 'Full Exclusive Rights' mean I own the beat?"

Yes. No one else will be sold any rights to use that instrumental once the payment is received. Royalties & a producer's credit will be owed to RebelBeats & are cleared explained in the contract.

"If I buy a beat, do I owe RebelBeats royalties?"

Yes, the exact terms are stated in the contract you will recieve & need to sign & return to us [also keeping a copy for yourself of course]. When & how royalties are paid is also explained in the contract.

"What types of music do we produce?"

We mostly concentrate on Hip-Hop & RnB for the time being. But, we're capable of producing all types of music from epic film scores to pop & mixing all styles & genres as well.

"Do we have any artists we're working with exclusively?"

No, we do not at the moment, but we are open to helping to develope artsts that are truley dedicated to being the best song writer & recording artists they can be & aren't looking for a free ride or the easy way out. We work hard & so do the people we work with.

"Would we be willing to be your 'main producers' for an upcoming project or a certain period of time?"

Yes, we just have to make sure the situation makes sense for all those involved.

"Are we interested in doing any exclusive production for you for free or for 'exposure'?"

No. Under no circumstances are we interested in providing the rights to our work without payment.

"Have we ever worked with any 'famous artists'?"

We don't make a habit of dropping the names of our customers or prospective customers but we will just say we've worked with many talented people & are up for placements with many more.
